House Taken Over
In 2018, artist Eduardo Padilha invited me to be writer-in-residence for a project he ran from his flat in Borough, London, called House Taken Over. I attended a series of lunches organised and cooked by Eduardo, in collaboration with artist Harold Offeh. Artists, curators, political activists, writers and educators were invited to have conversations about making art in a domestic setting and what it means to create a space for informal, social networks, beyond institutional frameworks.

The book I edited, in response to the project features interviews, essays, recipes and experimental texts from writers Holly Corfield Carr and Lorena Muñoz-Alonso, artists Harold Offeh and Martin Cordiano, theatre director Ada Mukhina and myself. It is beautifully designed by Sarah Boris.
