I was co-curator, with Theresa Bergne, of Future Perfect, an ambitious art commissioning programme in Hengrove, south Bristol (2012 - 2016).

Graphic featuring 'FUTURE PERFECT' as an optical illusion of blue, yellow, and red stripes, overlaying 'Future Perfect' in solid blue text.

The programme was made up of three commissions by Nils Norman, David Thorpe, Martino Gamper and a book of drawings by local resident Garth England. The theme for the programme was the future; a notional, fantastical future which embraces extraordinary possibilities and dreams.

Open notebook with colored pencil drawings of Bristol General Hospital, The Bothereast Tavern, and a pair of houses, accompanied by handwritten text detailing their historical and personal significance.
Drawing by Hengrove resident Garth England. Murdered with Straight Lines, drawings of Bristol by Garth England', edited by Jes Fernie, was published in 2016.
